Funkdoobiest (Los Angeles)

Formé en 1991, Funkdoobiest est pris dès le début sous la coupe de DJ Muggs (Cypress Hill). Ce groupe de Hip Hop latino a sorti en 1993 son premier album "Which Doobie U B?". Trois singles, dont "Bow Wow Wow", ont permis à cet album d'être disque d'or. Avec "Brother Doobie" produit en 1995, le groupe n'a pas pu réitérer le succès initial de leur premier disque. Trois ans plus tard, cette formation, réduit à deux membres, a perdu le soutien de Muggs. Cependant ces musiciens ont néanmoins sorti un troisième opus, "The Troubleshooters", avec leur single à succès "Papi Chulo"
